The HDS-USA celebrated their 10th anniversary with a three day event in Santa Barbara. On October 19th, presentations were held at the Santa Barbara City College. Speakers included Chuck Blakeslee, co-founder of Skin Diver Magazine; Dr. Alexander Sledkov, HDS Russia; Leslie Leaney, HDS USA; and Bob Ramsay HDS SEAP. At noon everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch seved at the Marine Tech Lab.

The following day, the Central Coast WEG cranked up the old hand operated pump owned by Bob Kirby and dove in front of the Santa Barbara Maritime Muesum. Japanese abalone helmet owned by Bob Kirby. It was a great weekend and we want to express our thanks to Leslie Leaney and the CCWEG for inviting our group to participate
